Parametric investigation on the thermal aspects of superconducting REBCO tapes used in CORC cables

چکیده
The primary aim of this study is to understand how the thermally induced strain varies with change in thickness REBCO tapes. During production stage tapes, a residual thermal it due cool down from 1020 K 77 K. 4 mm long and 0.091 thick tape cools 0.17% compressive at room temperature 0.242% liquid nitrogen temperature. But these values are dependent upon other elements tape. A mathematical model for system developed validated using experimental data. then subjected different practical conditions its behaviour evaluated. performance superconductor closely monitored degradation determined each case. has given more information on differs changes results obtained expected make modifications current process tapes eventual usage.
